Put it on your phone
Slime Soccer runs in any browser — nothing to download to just play. But a landscape match through a phone browser fights the address bar and the tab strip for space, and a stray tap on them can nudge the page. Adding it to your home screen fixes that: it opens full-screen with its own icon, no browser chrome, and the local game keeps working with no connection at all.
You’re already set up
This is running as the installed app — full-screen, its own icon, offline local play. Nothing else to do. Back to the game.
iPhone & iPad
- In Safari, tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up), at the bottom on an iPhone or the top on an iPad.
- Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add. A Slime Soccer icon appears on your home screen.
Open it from that icon and it runs full-screen, no tab bar. iOS has no automatic prompt for this — the Share menu is the only way, and only Safari has it (Chrome and Firefox on iOS can’t add to the home screen).
Android
- In Chrome, open the ⋮ menu (top right).
- Tap Install app (older Chrome calls it Add to Home screen).
- Confirm. The icon lands on your home screen and in your app drawer.
Chrome usually offers this on its own after a visit or two, as a bar along the bottom or an icon in the address bar. Opening it from the icon runs it full-screen.
Desktop
In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right of the address bar (a monitor with a downward arrow), or open the ⋮ menu and choose Install Slime Soccer. It opens in its own window. Firefox and Safari on the desktop don’t install web apps — a bookmark is the nearest thing there.
Other devices
Is there an Android APK / Play Store version?
Not yet. What exists today is the install above — a Progressive Web App: the same site, wrapped by your browser into a home-screen app with an offline copy of its files. For most people that is the whole “app experience”, and it updates itself.
A real .apk in the Play Store is a bigger job — it needs a signed
Android wrapper and some setup on the domain — and it is being considered
